The story behind Concept
I started this studio because I was tired of drawings that no one on site could build. Twelve years in practice, nine of them on my own, and the rule has not changed: design what can actually be made.

Our design philosophy
Rooms that behave
Light first. Every plan gets tested against the sun before it gets tested against furniture. If a room is dark at four in the afternoon in November, the plan is wrong.
Materials that age. Stone, timber, plaster, wool. Things that look better scuffed than new. No veneer pretending to be oak.
Storage you cannot see. Most complaints about a house are actually complaints about clutter. We solve that in joinery, not in styling.
Restraint. If a detail is not doing work, it goes.

Founder
Smita Singh
founder & principal designer
Smita launched the studio in 2017 on one simple belief: great design should not remain on paper. It should come to life. Since then, every project has taught her that good design is where creativity meets execution — where a beautiful concept can actually be built, detailed and lived in.
We don't just design spaces. We design what can be built, what can be lived in, and what can last.
“Nobody should stop themselves. Have a vision, work hard for it — one day it is yours.”
